Complaints Procedure
If you are unhappy with our service or our work, please tell us so we can put it right. This page explains what to do and what happens next.
Step 1: Contact us
Please raise your complaint as soon as you notice the problem. Call 0151 480 1428 first if you would like to talk it through. We ask that you also send your complaint in writing to Solar Panels UK, 72 Hollowcroft, Stockbridge Village, Liverpool, L28 4EB.
Please include your name, your address, what went wrong, and what you would like us to do. Copies of your quote, contract or photos will help.
Step 2: What we will do
- We will confirm that we have received your complaint within 5 working days.
- We will look into what happened and may ask to visit your property.
- We will write to you with our findings and what we will do, within 8 weeks. If we need longer, we will tell you why.
Step 3: If you are still unhappy
Solar Panels UK is a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC). If you are a domestic customer and we have not resolved your complaint, you may be able to take it to RECC, which runs a dispute resolution process. Where a complaint remains unresolved, RECC may offer an independent adjudication service. See how to complain on the RECC website for the current process.
